Community Acupuncture is a form of healthcare that focuses on providing acupuncture treatments in a group or community setting. It is becoming increasingly popular due to its affordability, accessibility, and effectiveness. Acupuncture works by stimulating energy pathways (meridians) in the body by using small needles or pressure on specific points. Many issues such as pain, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, digestive malfunction and more can be treated by working on acupuncture points below the elbows and knees and the scalp. Similarly these areas can be used to support the immune system, boost energy, and balance the body's energies. In a community acupuncture setting, people remain clothed and can be in almost any position.
