Breaking Ground

We moved to the Kitsap Peninsula in July of 2020 and left behind our home and business, Acacia Natural Health, in Everett, WA, to build a new home from the ground up. It's taken us a year and a half to finally break ground!

Here are a some pictures from the last few months.

We got the site cleaned up and staked out.

Then...it rained

and snowed...

And we started to wonder how this would ever work. I mean who is crazy enough to build a house on their own. On top of that, who is crazy enough to build a house while starting a new business. Debbie and I were questioning our sanity and resolve.

Building a home is not for the faint of heart and there are challenges every step of the way.

Woops!!!

There is always a solution if you can be patient enough. When I drove the tractor into the foundation, Dennis Kommer came right over and helped us out of the rut. Honestly, he thought it was hilarious.

Slowly things are starting to take shape and we gain some sense of sanity again.

What does all of this have to do with our acupuncture and massage? Basically, we would like for you to have an idea of who we are and where we come from. We would like to share our ups and downs because we know that trusting someone with your health is an important decision.

Please come back and visit our blog every once in a while. We will post occasional updates of our house build. Better yet, feel free to leave a comment and share.
